I got started in taxidermy at the age of 15 due to my love of animals and the outdoors. After graduating high school in 1984 I went to work for a taxidermy studio full-time and stayed there for 18 years doing a wide range of work from North American to African animals as well as many birds and fish. I also made custom cabinets and bases for the variety of mounts we completed.
In 1999 my wife, Barbara, and I opened our new studio between Nicollet and St. Peter, MN. We were pleasantly surprised at our immediate success and shortly hired one full-time and one part-time taxidermist to assist with the mounts. |

Currently we still have the same staff we started with and are pleased to announce the opening of our new location on Hwy 14 in Nicollet.
Our new studio features one of the largest trophy rooms found at any taxidermy studio across the country. Nearly 3,000 square feet in size, it features a replica rock mountain diorama with many lifesize animals, something you will surely want to check out in person.
Our work area is even larger and offers us the ability to handle the hundreds of mounts we do each year.
In the past I have competed in many competitions winning first place in both the state and world Taxidermy Championships. While we are proud to have those accomplishments, our most satisfying and rewarding work is to have you as a happy customer.
We believe in taking care of our natural resources and proudly support D.U., Pheasants Forever, NWTF, MWA, Minnesota Deer hunters Assn., Blue Earth Co. Pheasants,Inc, Nicollet Cons. Club, Key city cons. club, Bowbenders Archery, Valley Archers, Swan Lake Wildlife Assn, and many more. We are firm believers in Catch and Release and Quality Deer Management.
